During the 1980’s and 90’s the focus of my photography was mostly local. The barns, farms and fields of rural upstate New York provided the subject matter for my work. In the spirit of pictorialism that was popular from 1885-1915, my photographs from film, were enhanced using digital tools to produce images that emphasized texture, soft focus and an style that produced works that were simple in design and composition.
