Afternoon thunderstorms are often in the picture during the summer meet. In this picture, taken opening day in 2015, skies threatened over the track & a tornado watch was issued. We were all spared from that frightening scenario but it was definitely unsettling! Love the way the 8 , 9 and 10 lay out across the image.
